Tommy Hilfiger, part of the US fashion group PVH, announces Leon Goretzka as brand ambassador: The soccer star and player of the German national team is the godfather of the autumn / winter collection 2021 of men’s watches as well as the jewelry collection. The campaign is now starting in Germany and will be launched in the other European countries in late autumn.
At Tommy Hilfiger, it’s a tradition to work with celebrities who embody the brand’s values. In the case of Leon Goretzka, in addition to his sporting achievements, what fascinates above all is his determined optimism and social responsibility, according to the brand.
The shoot for the campaign took place in Ibiza. There, photographer Marco Fischer shot the national player. Goretzka made the triple perfect with FC Bayern in 2020 and was named “GQ Germany Sportsman of the Year 2020”. At the latest with his big heart gesture in the European Championship game against Hungary for more tolerance, the athlete also impressed all of Europe at this level. Goretzka repeatedly shows social commitment – whether with his work against racism and intolerance or a corona donation campaign.
