On Thursday, September 2, online fashion giant Nasty Gal and publication Sports Illustrated announced the launch of an athleisure collection created to celebrate female athletes.
The Nasty Gal x Sports Illustrated collection consists of 20 pieces of functional and luxurious sportswear with a focus on comfort and urban style, available exclusively on the Nasty Gal website and app.
The collection features a variety of pieces including traditional ’80s-inspired sweatshirts, bike shorts, and matching outfits in bold greens and monochrome color palettes.
Other key pieces include printed sports leggings with oversized bomber jackets, as well as cropped high neck sweaters, cropped sweatshirts, polo shirts and graphic tees embellished with inspirational messages, including “Throw Like a Badass” and “Don’t Play Games, Play Sport. “
The campaign features Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Josephine Skriver. In the US, the collection is available in sizes 0-20 with prices from $ 17 to $ 111.
Nasty Gal was founded in 2006 and, after filing for bankruptcy, was bought by the London group Boohoo in 2017.
