After having been forced to cancel several physical editions due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Maison & Objet, the international fair for decoration, design and lifestyle professionals, will be held again from September 9 to 13 in the Villepinte Exhibition Park. The theme of this year’s edition is “desirable development”.
As usual, the commercial event will take place in pavilions 1 to 6 of Villepinte and will be structured around the Smart Gifts spaces, dedicated to gifts and the art of gifting, Cook and Share dedicated to cooking and the art of entertaining. , Signature for decoration and design, Fragrances for home and personal fragrances, Kids & Family for the decoration of the little ones and Fashion Accessoiries for fashion accessories.
Maison & Objets, which used to bring together 3,000 brands, this time will host about 1,500, a reduction in size that is largely explained by the absence of flagships from the large export markets, for which travel remains limited or even impossible. The space dedicated to fashion accessories will house some 120 brands, compared to 700 in January 2020. Among them, the leather goods brand Jack Gomme, the jewelery brands Les Néréides Paris and Bangle Up and the multi-accessory fashion brand Cabaïa.
Maison & Objet is also expanding its range of services with the launch of “Maison & Objet Academy”, a streaming channel, available by subscription, offering exclusive content reserved for decoration, design and lifestyle professionals. “After Maison & Objet Paris, Paris Design Week and the online platform MOM (Maison & Objet and More), Maison & Objet Academy is the fourth pillar that completes the Maison & Objet ecosystem,” the show stated.
