Through an open letter to the community, the organization of the Latin American Fashion Summit (LAFS) announced that it will postpone its 2021 edition, which was to be held in November in the city of Miami, until March 2022, due to health security issues.
“After much consideration and always with the health and safety of our community in mind, we have made the difficult decision to move our Summit date to March 2022. Even if the news is unfortunate, we feel it is the right decision given the increase in cases and levels of Covid in Florida ”, indicated the statement signed by Samantha Tams and Estefanía Lacayo, organizers of the event.
The new date of the fashion appointment will be confirmed in the coming days, as announced by the organization. LAFS has become a movement to support Latin American fashion brands and companies that seek to expand their borders, enter the United States market and other destinations.
Currently, the organization has confirmed the realization of a virtual showroom with the NuOrder platform for next September, as well as “small activations that will be announced shortly”, for the end of the year.
