Hugo integrates numerous sustainable innovations in its autumn / winter 2021 collection, such as upcycled and reused models made from scraps of fabric or more sustainable cotton basics. The partnership between Hugo and Cotton made in Africa will also be expanded and accessories will be added.

Hugo’s new collection is made from more sustainable materials – Hugo

The highlights of the new Hugo collection include lined parkas made from recycled fabrics and filled, as well as sportswear made from responsibly produced cotton mixed with recycled fibers.

The collection is rounded off by sneakers made from TPU mixed with Repreve®, a yarn made from recycled bottles.

On the occasion of the market launch, Hugo invites its customers to recycle their existing clothing with the help of the Clean Up Your Act repair kit. The kit includes planet-shaped patches, branded smiley symbols and allows wearers to fix their favorite items instead of throwing them away.

With the Hugo Clean Up Your Act initiative, the brand offers products made from a range of more sustainable materials. Garments that are made from more sustainable raw materials are labeled with the Responsible label.

The main fabric or material of these products must consist of at least 60 percent more sustainable materials that meet known standards and, if possible, have verifiable certification by third parties.
