H&M continues with its program to open stores and new countries, interrupted by the pandemic, and reported this week that it has just opened its first store in Panama.

The store has opened in the Multiplaza shopping center and the company’s global director of franchising, Dan Nordstrom, said the move “is really fantastic.”

“Central America has great potential,” he stressed.

The new opening is not a directly operated store, since the company enters the country through an association with Hola Moda SA

With this latest move, the brand is now present in 75 markets.

Earlier this year, the H&M Group expanded its Sellpy second-hand partnership to 20 new markets and announced the opening of its first Arket store in Russia this fall.
