Less than three months after the long-awaited reopening of La Samaritaine, and at a time when Paris still does not receive a large number of tourists, it is the turn of the luxury hotel Cheval Blanc to open its doors. Adjacent to the Parisian department stores and with an impressive view of the Seine, this hotel, which has a capacity of 26 rooms and 46 suites, is the first Cheval Blanc, the hotel label of the LVMH group (also owner of La Samaritaine), to be located in the heart of the French capital.
This exceptional place, which has 400 employees and four restaurants, also has a spa, a place of relaxation and well-being operated by Dior. Designed by decorator Peter Marino, the Dior Spa Cheval Blanc Paris looks like a Parisian apartment in which six suites dedicated to skincare treatments flourish. The spa includes a menu of 48 treatments and a professional care line called Professional Solutions, consisting of 13 formulas, was also developed for the occasion. This environment also has a 30-meter long pool.
Inside the spa there is also a boutique where clients can discover some exclusive products that celebrate the union of the two houses of the LVMH group. Among them is the fragrance “Cheval Blanc Paris” invented by François Demachy, the Dior perfumer, or the Dior makeup duo, Rouge Dior and Rouge Blush, which bear the imprint of Cheval Blanc Paris. Finally, three of the Professional Solutions are also available for sale upon recommendation of the professionals providing care.
As for gastronomy, last June, on the occasion of the upcoming reopening of its headquarters on Avenue Montaigne in Paris, the Dior house announced that it was opening a new restaurant, of which Jean Imbert would be the chef.
