Paris Saint-Germain is not satisfied with having signed Lionel Messi, one of the greatest football players of all time, but also wants to distinguish itself off the pitch. The capital city club has teamed up with fashion house Dior to design the official wardrobe for its players, which includes both casual and more elegant outfits for official occasions.

This is a first for Dior, who has never worked with a sports club before. For its part, PSG has already collaborated with big brands such as Hugo Boss, who has been dressing the players off the field since 2014, and Berluti and made their outfits their own. In addition, the association has entered into numerous collaborations with brands such as Levi’s, Replay or Bape, Iro and Koché, who pursue a more casual or creative style. Kylian Mbappé, Neymar, Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos and Achraf Hakimi will now be wearing Dior outfits outside the football field.

“With this partnership, Paris Saint-Germain continues its pioneering work in the world of fashion and lifestyle and shares with Dior the same passion for Paris that makes the city shine with its creativity all over the world,” the football club said in a statement .

Kim Jones, the artistic director of Dior’s men’s collections, designed the creations that the red and blue team will wear over the next two seasons.

The new wardrobe, which underlines the savoir-faire of the French house, consists of a cashmere coat, jacket, shirt and suit trousers, combined with a pair of black leather shoes with the number of the respective player.

The second outfit is more casual and consists of a Harrington jacket, a sweater and a knitted polo shirt with an embroidered “Paris Saint-Germain” patch and a pair of black leather shoes. Accessories such as the iconic saddle bag made of black, grained calfskin, a jacquard tie, a cashmere scarf and a reversible belt complete the offer for the Paris Club players. All parts are black and navy blue.
