Cúcuta Moda closes deals for about eight million dollars in Colombia

Cúcuta Moda (CúMo), the Cúcuta fashion trends and business fair, successfully closed its 2021 edition after a one-year hiatus as a result of the pandemic. The event featured cwith the participation of 93 national and international buyers.

Businessmen from Ecuador, Guatemala, Chile, Costa Rica and the United States gathered in CúMo and closed deals for about 30 billion pesos (about 8 million dollars). In total, 110 local companies representing thousands of direct and indirect jobs presented their collections and news.

According to official figures from the organization, deals with international buyers were made directly at the fair for about 1.4 million dollars and the initial expectations raised were widely exceeded.

CúMo also had a retail pavilion for small fashion entrepreneurs who are just starting their businesses and are looking for suppliers with affordable prices. The event seeks to create new spaces and special synergies that allow the entire textile, clothing and fashion industries of the city to evolve.
