Brazilian Footwear, the program of the Brazilian Association of the Footwear Industry (Abicalçados) in collaboration with the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (Apex-Brasil), joins Vogue magazine for the launch of a specialized platform, within from the digital edition of Vogue.
The new space proposed by the authorities in footwear and communications, will offer fashion editorials with the main trends of each season, as well as reports and profiles of the protagonists of the footwear industry with editions in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
“This union seeks to join efforts to promote the footwear sector and attract international buyers, retailers, distributors and opinion makers, in order to promote new business with the Brazilian Footwear tools,” says Alice Rodrigues, Coordinator of the Image Promotion Unit of Abicalçados.
With its 100% virtual approach and in the three languages, the platform seeks to make knowledge of trends in terms of footwear and accessories available to everyone to advance not only the Brazilian industry, a regional leader, but also all countries and manufacturers of the continent.
Brazilean Footwear, the public-private initiative to encourage Brazilian footwear exports, does not back down on its alliances. At the beginning of this year the organization presented a special alliance in virtual showroom format with Joor, one of the most important B2B fashion trade platforms in the world, then it presented initiatives in the countries of the Andean region and now it is going for more.
