The American brand Bath & Body Works takes a new step in Latin America and accelerates in the south of the continent with the help of Grupo David, a Panamanian company that will be in charge of the launch of the brand with its first store in Montevideo.
Data from the newspaper El País reveal that the establishment would be installed in the capital’s Punta Carretas Shopping complex and could enter into operation next December.
Grupo David’s expansion project for Bath & Body Works in the Uruguayan market includes the launch of up to 6 stores of between 80 and 180 square meters over the next 3 years.
According to the local media, the company based in the Panamanian capital will disburse for each establishment an amount ranging from 500,000 to a million dollars, depending on the space of the premises.
It is worth mentioning that Grupo David is also in charge of the operation of Bath & Body Works in other Central and South American countries, as well as other international firms such as Victoria’s Secret, American Eagle, Clarks, Aerie, Adidas and The Children Place, to mention some.
