Balenciaga appoints Ludivine Pont as Head of Marketing

After Robin Meason was appointed Worldwide PR Director in April, Balenciaga added another new hiring to its team. The fashion house headed by designer Demna Gvasalia has poached Ludivine Pont from Moncler and appointed him to the newly created position of Chief Marketing Officer.

The young woman, who recently switched to Balenciaga, will report directly to CEO Cédric Charbit and be responsible for the marketing, communication and customer loyalty strategy. “Ludivine will play a central role in increasing brand awareness and improving the customer journey, while at the same time advancing the company’s creative vision,” said the Kering Group label in a statement.

At Moncler, where she worked from 2016 to 2021, Ludivine Pont held the position of Worldwide Marketing & Communications Director. The thirty-year-old native of Switzerland was previously in charge of marketing and public relations at Philipp Plein from 2012 to 2016.
