The Argentine textile company TN & Platex announced that it will invest 20 million dollars to expand its plant in the town of Monte Caseros, Corrientes province, where it will create 500 jobs for the manufacture of clothing and underwear.
As detailed by the owner of the company, Teddy Karagozian, the plant, which currently has 30,000 square meters, will now add 16,000 new meters for the construction and operation of the new Medias Ciudadela factory, in which they will produce socks and clothing. inside the own line and for third parties.
With this new investment, the plant will add 16,000 square meters in which 350 new stocking machines and 100 looms will operate. The expansion in question will have two stages that will total an investment of 50 million dollars.
Founded in 1979, the Tn & Platex group currently has eight industrial plants, a distribution center and administrative offices distributed in six provinces, with a production area of 160,000 square meters and 1,200 direct employees. The products made in Corrientes are exported to seven countries.
